Happy Halloween! (Well, almost!)

October is my favorite month and it's just around the corner! I put the finishing touches on my latest pattern "Happy Halloween" and it's now available in the shop and as a download on Craftsy.

This little pumpkin kitty is hanging out with her two mousey buddies and they are ready for some fall weather and trick or treating.  I'm a Halloween baby, born Oct. 31st, so this particular holiday is a whole lot of fun for me - I mean, who wouldn't want a reason to dress up and get candy on their birthday!

This beginner friendly wall hanging is a machine applique treat. It's a great project to decorate with or to make as a gift for your favorite Halloween fanatic or kitty collector. You can always customize the border and backing with great Halloween fabric, or customize the yellow cat fabric to match your favorite cat breed. I used free motion machine quilting on my border and love the way it turned out.

Happy Halloween would also make a great little baby quilt or play mat for any other Halloween babies out there! It finishes at 26"x31".
